Al-Hilal are reportedly preparing a massive £130m offer for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, who has allegedly told the Magpies he wants to leave this summer.

Alexander Isak’s future at Newcastle United is uncertain, with the Sweden international reportedly wanting to leave the club this summer. According to reports, Isak has communicated his desire to leave Eddie Howe’s side, which led to him being left out of the Magpies’ squad for their pre-season tour of Asia.

The club initially cited a minor thigh issue as the reason for Isak’s absence, but it’s now widely believed that he didn’t want to travel due to his desire to leave. 

Liverpool has been heavily linked with Isak, and the Reds are viewed as the favorites to sign him. However, the potential deal has been complicated by the club’s recent acquisition of Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Newcastle values Isak at £150m, and with the striker having a contract until the summer of 2028, the Magpies are in a strong position when it comes to his future. Amid the interest from Liverpool, Al-Hilal is preparing to make a massive offer in excess of £130m for the striker.

Al-Hilal, managed by Simone Inzaghi, finished second in the Saudi Pro League last season and boasts an impressive squad, including Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Neves, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Theo Hernandez, and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. 

It’s believed that Newcastle would be open to selling Isak to the Saudi Pro League if they can’t keep him. While there may be other Saudi interests in the striker, Al-Hilal is viewed as the main contender. The Magpies are in a strong position to negotiate a deal, and Al-Hilal’s offer could be the catalyst for Isak’s departure.
