Juventus open their Club World Cup campaign against Al Ain. Juventus need to make a statement given their recent drop in form in the Serie A, but Al-Ain won’t be a pushover.

Juventus, looking to regain their past glories, face Al-Ain in the Club World Cup on Wednesday.

The Italian giants, who drew a record 20 games in the 2024-25 season, are under new management with Igor Tudor at the helm. Tudor’s task is to lead the team to success in the tournament, starting with a crucial match against Al-Ain.

Juventus’s squad is starting to take shape, with defender Bremer and Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik rejoining the team after long-term absences. Captain and midfield fulcrum Manuel Locatelli is also expected to recover from an ankle injury and be available for selection.

Additionally, Daniele Rugani and Filip Kostic have returned from loans, providing Tudor with more options.

Al-Ain, on the other hand, has previous experience in the Club World Cup, finishing as runners-up in 2018. They have a strong squad and will be looking to cause an upset against the Italian giants. The UAE side has shown they can compete with the best, and they will be determined to make a statement in this tournament.

The stakes are high for Juventus, who need to take at least four points from their first two games to stay in contention for the knockout phase. Al-Ain will be looking to make a strong impression and prove themselves against a strong Juventus side.
