French midfielder Adrien Rabiot is poised to join AC Milan on a four-year contract, reuniting with former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri in a deal worth €10m including bonuses.

Adrien Rabiot’s transfer to AC Milan is all but done, with the midfielder set to undergo a medical examination on Monday and sign a four-year contract with the Rossoneri. Olympique Marseille has accepted AC Milan’s offer of €10m, including add-ons, paving the way for Rabiot’s arrival at San Siro.

The deal will see Rabiot reunite with Massimiliano Allegri, his former coach at Juventus, where he played for several years. Rabiot’s move to AC Milan is a significant signing for the Italian club, as it bolsters their midfield with an experienced and skilled player.

Rabiot’s mother and agent, Veronique, had explored other options, including a potential move to Napoli, in an effort to secure Champions League football for her son. However, a locker room brawl with teammate Jonathan Rowe and his initial refusal to apologise led to his departure from Olympique Marseille.

The French midfielder’s arrival at AC Milan is facilitated by the departure of Yunus Musah, who is joining Atalanta on loan with an option to buy worth €25m. Rabiot’s signing is a key part of AC Milan’s transfer strategy, as they look to strengthen their squad under new coach Allegri.

With Rabiot’s signing, AC Milan is expected to bolster their midfield and provide Allegri with a player he knows well. Rabiot’s experience and skill will be invaluable to the team, and his reunion with Allegri could prove to be a winning combination.

The deal is reportedly worth €10m, including performance-related bonuses, and will see Rabiot commit to AC Milan for the next four years.
