AC Milan has submitted an official bid for Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface, with reports indicating advanced talks and a potential €40 million transfer fee.

AC Milan has made a significant move in the transfer market, submitting an official bid for Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface.

The Italian club has been working behind the scenes to secure the services of the Nigerian forward, who has been linked with a move to the Rossoneri. According to reports, Milan’s sporting director, Igli Tare, is spearheading negotiations and is convinced of Boniface’s quality and long-term potential.

The bid, reportedly worth €40 million, has sparked interest from other clubs, including Manchester United, who are also in the market for a powerful forward. However, Boniface has reportedly already agreed to a contract proposal with Milan, making him more likely to join the Rossoneri.

Leverkusen seems inclined to sell Boniface, despite his contract running until June 2028, which suggests they might be open to a high-value transfer.

Boniface’s move to Milan would be a significant boost to the team’s attacking lineup. The 24-year-old has shown impressive form in the Bundesliga, scoring 11 goals in 27 appearances last season.

While Boniface seems keen on joining Milan, the transfer is not yet finalised. Leverkusen’s decision to sell him will likely depend on the offer and their own squad needs. With Patrik Schick, another prominent striker, potentially staying at Leverkusen, the club’s decision on Boniface’s future will be crucial in the coming days.
