AC Milan is optimistic about extending Christian Pulisic’s contract, with talks aiming to secure the USMNT star’s future at San Siro until June 2029.

AC Milan is confident that Christian Pulisic will accept a new contract, despite negotiations stalling in recent months.

The club values Pulisic’s contributions, having revitalised his career at San Siro since joining from Chelsea in 2023 for €20.8 million plus add-ons. Pulisic has scored 34 goals and provided 23 assists in 103 competitive games for Milan.

Pulisic’s current contract expires in June 2027, but AC Milan retains an option to extend it by one year. The club aims to extend the contract to June 2029, with a potential salary increase from €4 million to €5 million net per season. AC Milan director Igli Tare emphasised Pulisic’s central role in the team, expressing confidence in discussing the contract extension at the right time.

The negotiations have been ongoing, with a meeting planned with Pulisic’s agent during the next international break in October.

Milan’s directors want Pulisic to remain a key player for the team and are hopeful he will accept an improved deal. Pulisic’s performances have made him a fundamental pillar of the squad, and AC Milan is eager to build around him for the future.

Pulisic’s impressive form, including 17 goals and 12 assists in 50 appearances last season, has made him Milan’s best scorer. His consistency and attachment to the team have led to discussions about a contract extension. Milan’s goal is to secure Pulisic’s future and prevent interest from other clubs, including Premier League teams.
