The summer transfer window has seen some massive deals in Serie A, with several top players making high-profile moves to clubs in different leagues.

At the top of the list is Victor Osimhen’s move to Galatasaray from Napoli for a whopping €75 million. Despite being available via a release clause, Galatasaray agreed to pay the fee regardless.

Following Osimhen’s massive sale is Mateo Retegui’s €68 million move to Al-Qadsiah in the Saudi Pro League from Atalanta.

Retegui’s sale marks a significant profit for Atalanta, considering they purchased him from Genoa for €28 million just a year ago. Tijjani Reijnders’ sale to Manchester City from Milan comes close, with a fixed fee of €57.7 million and potential bonuses up to €70 million.

Other notable sales include Dan Ndoye’s €45 million move to Nottingham Forest from Bologna and Malick Thiaw’s €40 million transfer to Newcastle from Inter Milan. Both deals involved bonuses and signified significant investments by Premier League clubs in Serie A talent.

Giovanni Leoni’s €35 million sale to Liverpool from Parma is another standout deal, highlighting the interest of top European clubs in young Serie A players.

Sam Beukema’s sale to Napoli from Bologna for €31 million also features in the top 10 list.

Additionally, Juventus’ deal with Fiorentina for Nico Gonzalez, which initially cost €25 million plus ancillary fees, has an intriguing option to buy clause worth €32 million. Gonzalez’s loan to Atletico Madrid for €1-2 million adds another layer to this deal.

The list also includes three players sold for roughly €25 million each, including bonuses. Theo Hernandez’s move to Al-Hilal from AC Milan, Samuele Ricci’s transfer to Milan from Torino, and Roberto Piccoli’s sale to Fiorentina from Cagliari all fall within this range.

Overall, the summer transfer window has been eventful for Serie A, with several top players moving to clubs in different leagues for substantial fees.
