Tottenham Hotspur has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign French striker Randal Kolo Muani on a season-long loan deal.
Tottenham Hotspur has agreed to a season-long loan deal for Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani.
The 26-year-old French international is set to join the North London club after personal terms were agreed upon. Kolo Muani’s move to Tottenham comes after Juventus cooled their interest in signing him permanently, allowing Spurs to enter the race on deadline day
Kolo Muani spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus, where he scored 10 goals in 22 games across all competitions.
His impressive form for Juventus has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, and West Ham. However, Tottenham’s quick progress and agreed personal terms have secured the deal.
The loan fee for Kolo Muani’s transfer is reportedly £4.3 million, with no option or obligation to make the move permanent. The player is expected to travel to London for a medical examination, which will complete the transfer process.
The striker has 31 senior caps for France, including scoring in the 2022 World Cup semi-final victory over Morocco and playing in the final defeat by Argentina. His ability to score crucial goals and provide quality performances on the big stage will be an asset for Tottenham.
Tottenham’s signing of Kolo Muani is part of their efforts to strengthen their squad ahead of the season. The club has already completed deals for Mohammed Kudus and Xavi Simons, and Mathys Tel’s permanent signing.
With the transfer deadline looming, Tottenham is expected to announce Kolo Muani’s signing soon.
