Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario calls on his team to ‘do it again’ and win the UEFA Super Cup against PSG, seeking a second slice of European silverware.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is confident that his team can repeat their European success against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)  in the UEFA Super Cup final.

After winning the Europa League title in May, Vicario believes his teammates are ready to “taste the feeling” of success again. The Italian stopper was instrumental in Tottenham’s 1-0 win over Manchester United in the Europa League final, their first major trophy in 17 years.

Vicario emphasized the importance of teamwork and following the instructions of their manager, Thomas Frank. “We have to do it together. We have to follow very strictly the instructions of the manager. We fully believe in Thomas and in how we can improve as a collective,” he said. Vicario is determined to help Tottenham set the tone for success against PSG.

Interestingly, Vicario’s teammate and Italian international, Gianluigi Donnarumma, has been left out of the PSG squad for the UEFA Super Cup due to uncertainty surrounding his future with the club. Vicario wishes Donnarumma all the best in finding a resolution to his situation. “It’s up to him and his club to find the best way possible for his future. I wish him all the best,” he said.

Vicario has also been working on improving his distribution skills under Frank’s guidance. “Something has changed. Of course, I need to be really looking to read the situation that is presented in front of me. Sometimes it is to play short, sometimes long,” he explained.

With a new approach and a winning mentality, Vicario is hopeful that Tottenham can achieve a good result against PSG.
