Ademola Lookman snubs Arsenal, prioritizing a move to Inter Milan despite the Premier League club’s willingness to table a €52 million bid.

Ademola Lookman, the talented Nigerian forward, has reportedly refused to enter talks with Arsenal, opting to wait for Inter Milan to submit an acceptable offer.

Despite Arsenal’s interest and willingness to bid €52 million for his signature, Lookman is adamant about joining Inter Milan. The Atalanta winger has already reached an agreement on salary and personal terms with Inter, making the Nerazzurri his top choice.

Inter Milan have had two bids rejected by Atalanta, with the latest offer being around €40 million.

Atalanta is holding out for at least €50 million, and it seems the club is unwilling to sell to another Serie A team. Lookman has shown his frustration by unfollowing Atalanta on social media, deleting posts featuring the club, and changing his display picture to pitch black.

The ball is firmly in Inter’s court, and they will need to increase their bid to secure Lookman’s signature. With Arsenal monitoring the situation closely, Inter Milan must act quickly to seal the deal. Lookman’s transfer request has been submitted, and he is eager to leave Atalanta after three successful seasons.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has backed the move, describing Lookman as a “top player” with unfinished business in the Premier League. However, Lookman’s preference for Inter Milan suggests that the Nerazzurri might have an edge in the transfer race.
