Arsenal plan to approach Crystal Palace about signing Eberechi Eze, while also exploring a potential loan deal for Real Madrid’s Rodrygo.

Arsenal are gearing up to strengthen its attack by targeting two top players: Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace and Rodrygo from Real Madrid. The Gunners believe that adding quality to their final third will be crucial in their pursuit of major titles, including the Premier League.

Eberechi Eze is a top target for Arsenal, with the player having spent time in the Gunners’ academy as a schoolboy. 

Crystal Palace are demanding £68 million for Eze, which is his release clause, but Arsenal hopes to negotiate a better deal. According to reports, Palace wants £35 million upfront, with the rest paid in installments. Eze has expressed his preference for Arsenal, but he’s not planning to force a move.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are also eyeing Rodrygo, who has been used sparingly by Real Madrid’s new manager, Xabi Alonso. 

A loan deal might be possible if Real Madrid is open to it, potentially with the Spanish club contributing to Rodrygo’s wages. This could be similar to the loan deal Arsenal secured for Raheem Sterling last season, where they paid around 30% of his £325,000-per-week wages.

To fund potential signings, Arsenal plans to sell several players, including Fabio Vieira, Reiss Nelson, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jakub Kiwior, Albert Sambi Lokonga, and Leandro Trossard. These sales would free up funds to complete one or two more signings before the transfer window closes.

With the new Premier League season approaching, Arsenal wants to hit the ground running, especially given the nature of their opening fixtures. Adding a player like Eze or Rodrygo could make a significant difference in their title aspirations.

The transfer talks for both Eze and Rodrygo are ongoing, with Arsenal hoping to secure one or both of these talented players to bolster their squad. With the right signings, the Gunners could make a strong push for the Premier League title.
