Inter Milan considers improving their €45m offer for Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman with two potential options to meet the club’s €50m valuation.

Inter Milan are weighing its options to sign Ademola Lookman after their €45m bid was rejected by Atalanta. The Nerazzurri are keen on bringing the Nigerian international to their squad and are exploring ways to meet Atalanta’s valuation of €50m.

According to reports, there are two potential options Inter is considering to improve their offer.

The first option is that Inter could increase their offer to a total package worth €50m, with at least €45m in fixed fees. This would meet Atalanta’s valuation and potentially secure Lookman’s transfer.

The second option could see Inter raise the total cost of the operation to around €46m or €47m and include a young U23, Primavera, or academy talent in the deal. This would effectively boost the total cost to around €50m, meeting Atalanta’s demands.

Lookman has been refusing to train with Atalanta after the club rejected Inter’s bid. He has reportedly reached an agreement with Atalanta to leave the club under the right conditions, but the club’s CEO, Luca Percassi, has stated that the agreement is only for “big teams” outside of Serie A.

The situation has reached a stalemate, and it’s unclear whether Inter will come back with a new offer. However, with Lookman as their priority transfer target in attack, Inter is likely to explore all options to secure his signing.
