A source close to Kim Min-Jae has come forward to deny reports of transfer talks between the Bayern Munich defender and Al-Nassr.

According to the source, these reports are “not true,” and Kim Min-Jae is fully focused on his time with FC Bayern. The player is expected to stay with the club unless something extraordinary happens.

Recent reports suggested that Kim Min-Jae’s agent was in talks with Al-Nassr, with the South Korean defender keen on making the move. However, the source close to the player has quashed these claims, emphasizing Kim’s commitment to Bayern Munich.

While Kim Min-Jae has been linked to several top clubs in the past, a move to Al-Nassr seemed unlikely. The Saudi Pro League club’s interest in the player is reportedly driven by the need to replace Aymeric Laporte, who plans to leave the league.

Despite this, Kim’s preference for a return to Serie A has been cited, with clubs like Inter Milan and Juventus reportedly interested in signing him.

Bayern Munich would face challenges if they were to lose Kim Min-Jae, particularly with the start of the season approaching. The club would need to rely on Josip Stanišić shifting into the No. 3 role behind Jonathan Tah and Dayot Upamecano. With Kim’s denial of Al-Nassr talks, it’s likely that he’ll remain a key player for Bayern Munich in the upcoming season.

Kim Min-Jae’s current market value is estimated at €40 million, with several top clubs vying for his signature. However, the player’s commitment to Bayern Munich suggests that he’ll stay with the club, at least for now.
