AC Milan have rejected Bologna’s offer for Noah Okafor, convinced that the Swiss striker should be part of Max Allegri’s team after his impressive performances in pre-season friendlies.

AC Milan have turned down Bologna’s offer for Noah Okafor, despite the player’s limited playing time in the past season. Okafor spent six months on loan with Napoli, where he made only four appearances for a total of 36 minutes. However, his recent performances have changed Milan’s stance on his potential departure.

The Swiss international scored twice in Milan’s 9-0 friendly victory over Perth Glory and also found the net in the 4-2 win against Liverpool. These impressive displays have convinced new coach Max Allegri that Okafor could be a valuable asset to the team. As a result, Milan is now holding out for a permanent transfer worth around €15-20 million.

Okafor’s style might be better suited to Allegri’s counter-attacking approach, which could be a key factor in Milan’s change of heart. The club had previously rejected proposals from Besiktas and Flamengo, and the Bologna offer, which was a paid loan with an option to buy, was also deemed insufficient.

With Okafor’s recent performances, Milan might be justified in believing he has a future with the team. His ability to score goals and adapt to different positions on the field makes him a versatile player. As Milan prepares for the new season, many AC Milan fans will be watching to see how Okafor functions in this Milan team.
