The Italian football legend signed a two-year contract with the club, which was founded in 2022 and has quickly risen through the ranks of UAE football. Pirlo’s appointment marks a significant step for both the coach and the club as they look to climb the ranks of Emirati football.
Pirlo brings extensive playing and coaching experience to his new role. As a player, he won the 2006 World Cup with Italy and had a successful career with clubs like AC Milan and Juventus.
As a coach, he has previously managed Juventus, Fatih Karagumruk, and Sampdoria. His first match in charge of United FC is scheduled for September 20 against Al Dhaid.
