Bayern Munich first expressed interest in Nkunku earlier in 2024 and are now prioritizing the signing of Nkunku, who has been an integral part of RB Leipzig’s success in the Bundesliga. The French attacker notched 70 goals in 172 appearances for Leipzig before his £52m move to Chelsea in 2023. Nkunku’s experience and skill set would be a valuable asset to Bayern’s squad.
If Bayern Munich fails to land Nick Woltemade, Nkunku could be readily available to acquire. Personal terms are unlikely to be an issue, as the forward is keen to join Bayern’s project under Vincent Kompany.
