Napoli and Galatasaray have finally reached a full agreement for the sale of Victor Osimhen, ending weeks of negotiations over the structure and installments of the deal.

After a successful loan spell in Istanbul, Galatasaray has secured a permanent deal for Victor Osimhen. The Turkish club had been pushing to sign the Nigerian international on a permanent basis, and after weeks of negotiations, they have finally reached an agreement with Napoli.

The deal is worth €75 million, with Galatasaray agreeing to pay the full amount by the end of 2026. Napoli will receive €40 million upfront, and the remaining €35 million will be paid in installments. The deal also includes up to €5 million in bonuses and a 10% sell-on clause for Napoli.

The negotiations had been ongoing for several weeks, with the two clubs squabbling over the structure and installments of the deal. Napoli had demanded official guarantees over the payment, which seemed to be the sticking point. However, it appears that the two clubs have finally come to an agreement.

The deal also includes an ‘anti-Serie A clause’, which prevents Osimhen from joining one of Napoli’s direct rivals for the next 24 months. This clause is likely to be a point of contention for Osimhen’s new club, but it’s clear that Napoli wants to protect their interests.

Osimhen’s loan spell at Galatasaray was a huge success, with the striker contributing 37 goals and eight assists from 41 appearances across all competitions. His impressive form made him a fan favorite in Istanbul, and it’s clear that Galatasaray is eager to keep him on a permanent basis.

With the deal now done, Osimhen can focus on his new role at Galatasaray. The club will be hoping that he can continue to fire on all cylinders and lead them to success in the upcoming season.
