Juventus considers signing Lucas Vazquez as a free agent, while also negotiating to retain Alberto Costa and exploring other right-back options.

Juventus is looking to strengthen its right-back position and has been offered Lucas Vázquez, a former Real Madrid defender, as a potential signing. Vazquez is available as a free agent after his contract with Real Madrid expired. However, the main obstacle is his salary, which was €4.5m in his final season at the Bernabéu.

Vazquez is not a priority target for Juventus, but the club’s director, Damien Comolli, will discuss his potential signing with coach Igor Tudor.

Juventus is also exploring other options, including Fiorentina’s Dodo, valued at €30m, and Josha Vagnoman of VfB Stuttgart.

Meanwhile, Juventus is in talks with Sporting CP regarding Alberto Costa, who joined the club in January.

Costa is not pushing to leave Juventus, but the club could accept an offer in the region of €18m-€20m. Tudor is eager to retain Costa at the Allianz Stadium, but the decision ultimately depends on the club’s priorities and budget.

In other news, Juventus is in negotiations with Marseille over the transfer of Timothy Weah. The USMNT international has agreed to personal terms with Marseille, and the clubs are now discussing the transfer fee. Weah’s departure would create space for new signings, and Juventus could use the funds to strengthen its squad.
