Bayern Munich is reportedly interested in signing Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard if they fail to agree on a deal with Liverpool for Luis Diaz.

Bayern Munich is considering Leandro Trossard as a potential signing this summer, but only if their pursuit of Liverpool’s Luis Diaz falls through.

Trossard has been a versatile player for Arsenal, and Bayern Munich’s manager, Vincent Kompany, is familiar with him from their time with the Belgian national team and Kompany’s spell managing Burnley in the Premier League.

Trossard’s future at Arsenal is uncertain, with contract renewal talks stalling in recent months. The club’s pursuit of additional forwards may push Trossard to reconsider his options. Arsenal is reportedly willing to let Trossard go for around £20 million, which could make him a more attractive option for Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich’s interest in Trossard is still in the exploratory phase, and the club may not pursue him if they don’t like Arsenal’s asking price.

The outcome of Bayern Munich’s pursuit of Luis Diaz will ultimately determine whether Trossard becomes a target for the club. If Bayern Munich fails to agree on a deal with Liverpool, they may shift their focus to Trossard or other alternatives.

Trossard’s agent has recently switched to German intermediary Dirk Hebel, which could potentially ease negotiations with Bayern Munich. With many factors at play, it’s unclear whether Trossard will ultimately join Bayern Munich or remain with Arsenal.
