Here’s the latest on pending transfers in the Premier League

Jadon Sancho could be in Naples in the autumn. The winger broke up with Chelsea this summer, a year after he and Manchester United agreed that it couldn’t work between them and it was better to part ways, and that being after six months with Borussia Dortmund.

And while Sancho might seem unable to keep a relationship, things could work out between him and the Italian champions, who seem like they want to show Manchester United again what they are missing, having done that once with Scott McTominay. If the move does not work out, another option for Sancho could be the old ladies of Juventus.

Antony might be close to a deal with Real Betis, who have been emptying piggy bank after piggy bank to find enough money to satisfy Manchester United. The Red Devils will not let the player go for a ridiculous sum, even though they want him and three other forwards out of the club as quickly as possible, so they can stop window shopping and actually start bringing in more players besides Matheus Cunha.

Chelsea have expressed interest in Brighton forward Joao Pedro. Winning the Conference League and qualifying for the Champions League last season appears to have justified last summer’s slew of incomings and nothing says Todd Boehly more than a third striker, with the services of Nicolas Jackson and Liam Delap already at Enzo Maresca’s disposal. If Pedro were to join the London club, it would be a big blow for Newcastle, who have formally expressed interest but can’t seem to find any player to agree a move this summer, despite holding their Champions League card and flashing it relentlessly.

There may be a place for Andre Onana at Monaco, according to L’Equipe. But the French Ligue I side will first check other options, such as Chelsea’s Djordje Petrovic and Barcelona’s Andre Ter-Stegen. If those deals do not work out, only then will they reach out to Onana.

Liverpool are interested in signing Ajax defender Jorrel Hato, because Jarell Quansah is close to a move to Bayer Leverkusen and the suits at Anfield either like their homonymous first names or they want another promising youngster who will be given the time to develop under the experienced centre-backs currently at the club.
