PSG manager Luis Enrique exudes confidence ahead of the team’s opening match against Atletico Madrid in the Club World Cup, aiming to win a fifth trophy this season.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique is brimming with confidence as his team prepares to face Atletico Madrid in the Club World Cup opener. “I think it is an incredible competition,” Enrique said. “Our aim is to try to win a fifth trophy of the season.”

Enrique’s team has already had a remarkable season, winning the UEFA Champions League title by thrashing Inter Milan 5-0 in the final. They have also won all their domestic competitions, including Ligue 1, the French Cup, and the French Supercup.

The Spanish coach is eager to add another trophy to PSG’s cabinet and believes that winning the Club World Cup is within reach. “To have been crowned European champions for the first time in the club’s history is incredible for Paris Saint-Germain,” Enrique said. “Now it’s time to win the Club World Cup.”

Enrique acknowledged that the match against Atletico Madrid will be tough, given their familiarity from Champions League encounters.

“We know each other very well because we played each other in the Champions League this season,” he said. “It’s going to be a tough game, but we’re ready to take on any club.”
