Chelsea Announces 28-Man Squad for Club World Cup

Chelsea has revealed its 28-man squad for the upcoming Club World Cup, featuring new signing Liam Delap and other summer recruits.

Chelsea has confirmed its 28-man squad for the Club World Cup, with new signing Liam Delap included in the party. Delap, who joined Chelsea from Ipswich for £30m, was omitted from the England Under-21 squad for the European Championship to participate in the tournament.

The squad also features other summer signings, including goalkeeper Mike Penders, centre-back Mamadou Sarr, and midfielder Dario Essugo. Christopher Nkunku, who has been linked with a move away, has been selected, while Andrey Santos, who impressed on loan at Strasbourg last season, has also made the cut.

Notably, Djordje Petrovic, who also had a successful loan spell at Strasbourg, is not included in the squad. The Chelsea squad will travel to the USA for the Club World Cup, competing against top clubs from around the world.

Midfielders: Moises Caicedo, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Dario Essugo, Enzo Fernandez, Romeo Lavia, Andrey Santos.

Forwards: Liam Delap, Tyrique George, Marc Guiu, Nicolas Jackson, Noni Madueke, Pedro Neto, Christopher Nkunku, Cole Palmer.
