Kevin De Bruyne has officially joined Napoli, teaming up with former Chelsea and Tottenham manager Antonio Conte. The 33-year-old Belgian midfielder left Manchester City at the end of the Premier League season, rejecting an offer from Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire to join Napoli on a free transfer.

During his 10-year tenure at Manchester City, De Bruyne won 19 major trophies after joining from Wolfsburg in 2015. His departure from City was announced before the end of the season, and he bid an emotional farewell to the Etihad Stadium following his final home league match against Bournemouth in May.

With De Bruyne on board, Napoli are looking to strengthen their squad and make a strong challenge in the upcoming season. The addition of the experienced midfielder will undoubtedly boost the team’s chances of success in the Champions League and the Serie A.
