Juventus have confirmed that Igor Tudor will remain as their head coach, despite speculation surrounding his future and interest in other top coaches.

Juventus have put an end to speculation surrounding Igor Tudor’s future as head coach, confirming that he will remain in charge for the next season.

Tudor took over as coach in March, replacing Thiago Motta, and led the team to Champions League qualification, which automatically extended his contract. Despite interest in Antonio Conte and Gian Piero Gasperini, Juventus have opted to stick with Tudor.

New general manager Damien Comolli confirmed the decision, stating that Tudor will lead the team into the Club World Cup. Comolli is working closely with Tudor and plans to hire a sporting director and a technical director to help get Juventus back to the top.

Comolli praised Tudor’s work, citing his impressive stint at Marseille, where he impressed with the team’s intensity and physical and mental stamina.

Comolli also provided updates on several players, including Randal Kolo Muani, who will feature for Juventus at the Club World Cup.

The club is hopeful that they can extend Kolo Muani’s stay beyond the tournament. Meanwhile, there is speculation surrounding the future of striker Dusan Vlahovic, who has been unsettled in Turin. Comolli and Tudor aim to clarify the situation with the Serbian international, who is a top player for the club.

The decision to stick with Tudor marks a new chapter for Juventus, as they look to return to challenging for top honours in Serie A after five successive seasons without a Scudetto.

With Tudor at the helm, Juventus will aim to make a strong impression in the Club World Cup and beyond.
