Tottenham may sell Son Heung-min as the South Korean has generated interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League. Selling him could help the club finance a move for Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace.

Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min could be on his way out of the club this summer as Spurs look to generate transfer funds and revamp their squad ahead of a return to the Champions League next season.

With one year left on his contract, Son has become a target for Saudi Pro League clubs, who have long been interested in the 32-year-old South Korean star.

As captain since August 2023, Son has been an integral part of the team, leading them to the Europa League trophy in Bilbao last month.

However, a persistent foot injury has affected his playing time, and Richarlison started ahead of him in the final against Manchester United, although Son did come on in the second half.

Son would depart as one of the greatest Spurs players of the last two decades, leaving a significant void in the team. He joined Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 and became a household name in the Premier League and South Korea. With his contract situation and the club’s desire to generate funds, Son’s future at Spurs looks uncertain.

If Son does leave Tottenham, it could potentially pave the way for the club to fund a move for Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze. Selling Son would not only free up wages but also provide a significant transfer fee, which could be used to sign Eze and strengthen the team’s squad.
