Who Will Win The Europa League Golden Boot?

The 2024/25 Europa League season has finally concluded, and it was a season to remember.

Tottenham Hotspur, under the guidance of Ange Postecoglou, won the trophy this season in remarkable fashion. It was their first trophy since 2008 and also their third Europa League. While the trophy was at stake in the final, one more thing was in the balance: the Europa League golden boot.

Bruno Fernandes would be utterly disappointed that his club wasn’t able to get the trophy yesterday, but he can find solace in the fact that he can win the Golden Boot award despite failing to score yesterday.

The Portuguese midfielder has been instrumental to Manchester United’s UEL campaign, and had he scored yesterday, he would have finished with 8 goals in the campaign, clinging to the golden boot awards, but he will have to share the award with Ayoub El Kaabi of Olympiacos and Kasper Hogh of Bodo/Glimt.

They are all tied for the golden boot with 7 goals in the 2024/25 Europa League. Although missing out on the trophy will be a disappointment for Bruno Fernades, winning the golden boot is a consolation prize for all his effort this season and adds as another personal accolade to his long list of achievements in his time at Manchester United.
