Victor Munoz believes the physical demands of the Premier League are helping him develop after his move to Liverpool from Osasuna this summer.
The Spain forward has made five league appearances for Liverpool, scoring once, since joining from the Spanish club for €40m. He signed a six-year contract to become the first player recruited by Andoni Iraola since his appointment as Liverpool head coach.
“I definitely notice differences between La Liga and the Premier League,” Munoz said on Thursday. “La Liga is a lot more tactical. The Premier League games are more physical. The intensity in training there is very high, you notice that difference. It’s helping me grow.”
The 22-year-old is with Spain for the current international break after missing the World Cup through injury. He came on as a substitute against Croatia on Tuesday and is preparing for Spain’s Nations League match against Czechia in Oviedo.
Munoz joined Liverpool after an impressive breakthrough season at Osasuna in 2025-26. The former Real Madrid youth player said the speed of his progress had left him struggling to take everything in.
“Everything happening so fast means I don’t have time to fully process it,” he said. “My family and I try to enjoy every moment. I’m in a good place right now.”
