The Coppa Italia Round of 16 schedule has been confirmed, with the next stage of the competition set to take place between December 1 and January 26.
Serie A’s governing body has announced the exact dates and kick-off times for all eight Coppa Italia Round of 16 ties, with several of Italy’s biggest clubs entering the competition at this stage.
Defending champions Inter will begin their title defence at home against Genoa on December 1, while Juventus will host Sassuolo and Napoli will welcome Fiorentina.
The Round of 16 is also where the eight highest-placed Serie A teams from last season enter the tournament. Unlike the later stages, there will be no extra time if a match finishes level after 90 minutes. The winner will instead be decided directly by a penalty shoot-out.
The fixtures have been spread across December and January, with the final Round of 16 tie taking place between Atalanta and Udinese on January 26.
