Juventus ended their summer tour in Australia with a 2-0 win over Palermo.
Juventus rounded off their summer tour in Perth with a 2-0 victory over Palermo on Tuesday, with Kenan Yildiz and Arkadiusz Milik getting on the scoresheet as the Bianconeri completed their preparations in Australia.
Juventus started brightly and quickly established control of the contest. Yildiz combined with Randal Kolo Muani inside the opening 10 minutes, while Francisco Conceicao continued to look dangerous as he first tried to create an opening for a teammate before testing the Palermo defence himself.
Yildiz came close to breaking the deadlock as the half-hour mark approached, but his effort drifted narrowly wide. Palermo attempted to respond and put Mattia Perin and the Juventus defence under some pressure, but the Bianconeri remained largely comfortable.
Juventus eventually found their breakthrough just before half-time. Conceicao created the opening by finding Zeki Celik, who then supplied Yildiz, allowing the young forward to finish and give his side a deserved 1-0 lead at the interval.

Kolo Muani continued to lead the Juventus attack after the restart and went close to adding a second. The Frenchman linked up with Kerim Alajbegovic for one opportunity before combining with Jeremie Boga as Juventus continued to threaten.
Edon Zhegrova also tested Palermo as Juventus searched for the goal that would put the result beyond doubt. Milik thought he had doubled the advantage shortly before the end, only for the effort to be ruled out for offside.
The Poland international would not have to wait long, however. Milik found the net again in the 86th minute to finally make it 2-0 and put the result beyond doubt.
The victory brings Juventus’ summer tour to an end and provides a positive finish to their preparations in Perth. The Bianconeri will now return to Turin, where they will face their Next Gen side at Allianz Stadium on August 17 before the start of the Serie A campaign.
