Tottenham Manager Ange Postecoglou could see his time at Tottenham end abruptly, whether or not he lifts the Europa League trophy.

Spurs’ loss to Nottingham Forest marked their 18th Premier League defeat this season, leaving them 16th in the table.

Even if they break their club’s unwanted record of 19 losses, a Europa League win might still salvage the season and Postecoglou’s reputation.

Tottenham faces Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League semi-finals, and a poor showing there could seal Postecoglou’s fate.

Even if Spurs win the competition, there’s talk that he could leave the club by mutual agreement.

Despite injuries, internal leaks, and fan protests, the Australian manager has stood firm. He recently said he doesn’t know what the future holds, but that he’s sticking around “a bit longer.”

Tottenham are already preparing for life after Postecoglou, with names like Andoni Iraola (Bournemouth), Marco Silva (Fulham), and Thomas Frank (Brentford) mentioned as possible replacements. Club figure Scott Munn, one of Postecoglou’s key supporters, is also set to leave.
