Fiorentina are reportedly preparing a surprise move for Bayern Munich veteran Thomas Müller, whose time at the German club ends this summer.

At 35, Müller’s contract will not be renewed, and the German legend could be on the move for the first time in his legendary career. Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has confirmed that Fiorentina have already made contact with the player’s representatives.

If the deal goes through, Müller would follow in the footsteps of former Bayern stars Mario Gomez and Franck Ribery, both of whom made notable moves to Florence in recent years.

Despite his age, Müller still holds value thanks to his experience, versatility, and winning mentality.

He’s lifted 33 major trophies, including two Champions League titles and the 2014 World Cup with Germany.

While Fiorentina seems eager, they face competition from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and even clubs in the United States, all interested in offering Müller a final chapter before potential retirement.
