Roma have opened discussions with Antonio Nusa’s representatives after missing out on Crysencio Summerville.
Roma have stepped up their search for a new attacking signing by opening talks with the representatives of Antonio Nusa after failing to secure the signing of Crysencio Summerville this summer.
The Giallorossi had been confident of landing Summerville after reaching agreements with both the player and West Ham United. However, the deal collapsed when Al-Hilal entered the race with a significantly improved offer.
The Saudi Pro League club reportedly offered West Ham around €80 million for the Dutch winger while also putting forward a lucrative salary package worth approximately €15 million per season, convincing Summerville to choose a move to Saudi Arabia.

Following that setback, Roma have switched their attention to RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa. According to reports , the Norway international has now become the club’s primary attacking target.
RB Leipzig are understood to be open to selling the 20-year-old, but only under the right financial conditions. The Bundesliga side are reportedly valuing Nusa at between €55 million and €60 million, presenting Roma with a significant challenge.
Roma sporting director Tony D’Amico has already initiated discussions with Nusa’s entourage in an effort to gauge the player’s interest and lay the groundwork for a potential transfer. However, negotiations with Leipzig are expected to prove far more complicated.
The biggest obstacle remains the German club’s asking price. Roma are expected to explore ways of reducing Leipzig’s valuation as they attempt to reach a deal that fits within their transfer budget ahead of the new season.
🚨🇳🇴 Antonio Nusa is now Roma’s top target as winger as they have already opened direct contacts.
Nusa is valued at €50M by RB Leipzig if he is to be sold. Roma could pay more than this however to avoid competition for Nusa.

While Nusa is currently the priority, Roma are keeping alternative options under consideration. Chelsea-linked Diego Moreira and fellow Norwegian winger Andreas Schjelderup also remain on the club’s shortlist should negotiations for Nusa fail to progress.
