Manchester United winger is willing to see out his contract at Old Trafford and will be reintegrated next season
Marcus Rashford has turned down lucrative offers to leave Manchester United this summer and has instead opted to remain at Old Trafford.
The England forward previously had a £40m release clause in his contract but it has expired, meaning that any club interested in signing him would have to negotiate a transfer fee directly with United.
One of those clubs is Fenerbahce, who made an offer of €40m (£34m) in transfer fees and were willing to pay Rashford €425k a week in wages, according to reports. However, Rashford is understood to have turned down the offer.
The 28-year-old spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Barcelona, where he produced 14 goals and 14 assists in 49 appearances across all competitions. The Spanish club held an option to make the move permanent for €30m but decided not to exercise it. Instead, they signed Anthony Gordon from Newcastle for €80m.
It has been previously understood that Rashford is unwilling to consider leaving United to join any other club than Barcelona. With that move now unlikely, the player is set to be reintegrated at Old Trafford.
Rashford is still under contract until 2028, although he has not played for United since December 2024.
