Bayern Munich are reportedly open to the possibility of selling Alphonso Davies this summer as interest from Saudi Arabian clubs begins to gather pace ahead of the new season.
According to reports from Germany, representatives of several Saudi Pro League clubs have visited Bayern’s Säbener Straße headquarters to discuss the conditions of a potential transfer for the Canada international.
While no formal offer has been submitted, Bayern are said to be willing to consider a sale in principle. One of the main reasons is Davies’ lucrative contract, which reportedly sees the left-back earn between €15 million and €20 million per season.

Despite Bayern’s openness to negotiations, it remains unclear whether Davies would be interested in leaving European football for a move to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career.
The 25-year-old endured an injury-hit 2025/26 campaign, limiting his impact for both club and country. His fitness struggles have prompted Bayern to strengthen the left side of their defence during the current transfer window.
The Bundesliga champions have already signed Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt to increase competition at left-back, a move that could further fuel speculation over Davies’ future as Bayern weigh up their options before the transfer window closes.
