Chelsea are reportedly unwilling to loan out Alejandro Garnacho this summer but are open to selling the winger permanently as they continue reshaping their squad under Xabi Alonso.

Garnacho joined Chelsea from Manchester United in a £40 million deal last summer, but the move has yet to produce the desired results. The 22-year-old endured a difficult debut campaign at Stamford Bridge, scoring just one Premier League goal and struggling to establish himself as a regular starter.
Roma have been credited with an interest in taking Garnacho on loan, but Chelsea are reportedly not entertaining temporary deals. With no European football on the schedule this season, the Blues are looking to reduce the size of their squad and prefer a permanent transfer.
New head coach Xabi Alonso is expected to have a major influence on Chelsea’s transfer decisions this summer. While it remains unclear whether he sees Garnacho as part of his long-term plans, the Spaniard is understood to be working closely with the club’s hierarchy on recruitment and departures.
Elsewhere, Trevoh Chalobah continues to attract interest from Serie A. Both Como and Inter Milan are monitoring the defender, with Como expected to return with an improved offer in the coming days after qualifying for the Champions League under Cesc Fabregas.
Chelsea are reportedly demanding £30 million plus an additional £5 million in performance-related bonuses for Chalobah. The Blues remain firm on their valuation as negotiations continue with interested clubs.
On the recruitment front, Chelsea have explored the possibility of bringing Granit Xhaka back together with Alonso. However, Sunderland insist the experienced midfielder is not for sale and remains fully committed to the club despite the reported interest.

Chelsea are also targeting Rayo Vallecano left-back Pep Chavarria, although negotiations have stalled with the Spanish side refusing to lower their asking price. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix and Como centre-back Jacobo Ramon are among the options being considered as the Blues continue their search for defensive reinforcements, while also looking to add another midfielder and a versatile forward.
