Roma are reportedly targeting Antonio Nusa, Crysencio Summerville, and Mason Greenwood as Gian Piero Gasperini begins reshaping the squad ahead of the new season.

Roma are reportedly preparing a major squad rebuild under Gian Piero Gasperini, with Antonio Nusa, Crysencio Summerville, and Mason Greenwood emerging as key transfer targets for the upcoming season.

The Giallorossi have chosen to fully back Gasperini’s football vision this summer, stepping away from the influence previously held by advisor Claudio Ranieri and sporting director Frederic Massara in transfer decisions. As a result, Roma’s recruitment strategy is now expected to focus heavily on players who fit Gasperini’s intense and attacking tactical style, similar to the approach that brought him success during his time at Atalanta.

RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa remains Roma’s primary target. The Norwegian international was already on the club’s radar last summer and again in January, but negotiations reportedly stalled because of Leipzig’s €60 million valuation.

However, reports suggest the asking price has now dropped by around €10 million, potentially making a deal more realistic if Roma decide to cash in on Matías Soulé. Nusa enjoyed a productive campaign with Leipzig, scoring five goals and providing four assists in 35 appearances across all competitions.

Roma are also monitoring West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville, who could become available at a reduced price if the English club are relegated from the Premier League. The versatile Dutch attacker contributed seven goals and four assists in 33 matches this season and is capable of playing on either flank.

Another factor working in Roma’s favour is Summerville’s shared agency connection with Donyell Malen, who joined the club in January. Roma reportedly hope that relationship could help strengthen their position in negotiations if they pursue the winger seriously.

A more expensive option remains Mason Greenwood, who has impressed at Olympique Marseille this season with 26 goals and 11 assists in 45 appearances.

Despite ongoing uncertainty surrounding his future and off-field controversies, Gasperini is said to admire Greenwood’s playing style, while Roma view him as a player capable of transforming their attack if a deal becomes possible.
