It was also an evening of send-offs and emotions, as Robert Lewandowski made his final appearance at Camp Nou before departing the club this summer having three seasons in Catalonia. The 37-year-old also received a warm ovation as he was substituted late on.
“It’s been a very emotional and difficult day for me,” he told Camp Nou after the final whistle. “When I arrived at Barça, I knew it was a huge club, but I’ve lived through an incredible chapter here. From the very first day I felt at home and I’ll never forget hearing you sing my name.

Hansi Flick’s champions bossed the game from the outset but had to wait until the 28th minute for the breakthrough, Raphinha catching goalkeeper Alvaro Valles out with an effort from a freekick that crept in at his near side.
The Brazilian remained at the centre of the action after the interval and doubled the advantage just after the hour mark. Hector Bellerin gifted possession away with an underhit pass, allowing Raphinha to pounce and finish calmly for his second of the evening.
Betis, who have already secured Champions League football for next season, briefly threatened a comeback when Gavi brought down Isco as he tried to take a shot inside the area.
The Betis captain, back from injury, converted from the spot 367 days since he last scored for the team. Barcelona responded quickly, however, Joao Cancelo restoring the two-goal cushion with a superb strike from distance into the bottom corner.
