PSG Beat Bayern in Biggest UCL Game of The Season

This was the final before the final and both teams delivered a scintillating tie

PSG vs Bayern Munich was seen as the biggest tie of the UCL 2025/26 season and it delivered in every sense of the word. It was expected to be goals galore and from start to finish, it was goal after goal.

Just 17 minutes into proceedings, Bayern Munich drew first blood with Harry Kane finding the back of the net from the penalty spot and that goal kicked off a scoring festival.

Before Bayern could really let their goal settle, Kvaratskhelia pulled one back for PSG. His burst down the left Stanisic chasing him. The Bayern Munich defender managed to recover but was beaten by Kvaratskhelia’s mesmerizing skills before the winger fired into the bottom corner.

Bayern had barely pulled themselves together when PSG took the lead, this time through a header from Joao Neves.

It was frantic and end-to-end action and less than 10 minutes after PSG took the lead. Olise pulled Bayern level.

In the space of three minutes, PSG added another and took the game away from Bayern. Dembele once again found the back of the net to make it 5-2 and it looked like it was over for Bayern.

However, Bayern showed their mentality as they refused to bow out of the game. Upamecano scored from a Kimmich’s free-kick in the 65th minute and in the space of three minutes, Diaz made it 5-4 after turning Marquinhos in and out.

Mayulu came on and almost made it 6-4 but his shot bounced off the upright.

Bayern can go back to Germany knowing they are still in the tie and will need to put up another performance like this to go through. For PSG, they have the upper hand now and will be looking to kill off the second leg right from kick-off.
