Vincent Kompany backs Jamal Musiala to regain top form as Bayern Munich push for a treble amid injuries and crucial fixtures.
Vincent Kompany has expressed strong confidence that Jamal Musiala will soon return to his very best form, despite the Bayern Munich star still working his way back from a long-term injury.
Musiala endured a major setback last July after suffering a fibula fracture along with a broken and dislocated ankle following a collision with Gianluigi Donnarumma during a Club World Cup clash involving PSG.
After months on the sidelines, the 23-year-old made his return in January and has since been gradually reintegrated into the squad at Bayern Munich. His focus now is to regain full sharpness ahead of the upcoming World Cup in June.

Kompany highlighted the progress Musiala has made since his return, particularly in his physical development. According to the Bayern coach, the midfielder is now close to peak condition, not only in strength but also in his work rate and willingness to cover ground.
While fans are eager to see the return of Magic Musiala, Kompany insists it is only a matter of time. He noted that flashes of brilliance are already visible, even if the player has not yet fully reached his previous level.
Despite limited minutes, Musiala has still made a significant impact. In just 600 minutes across all competitions, he has recorded nine goal contributions, underlining his effectiveness in the final third.
Bayern, chasing a historic treble, will need Musiala’s creativity more than ever. With Serge Gnabry sidelined due to an adductor injury, the responsibility on Musiala increases as the club prepares for a German Cup semi-final against Bayer Leverkusen. Having already secured the Bundesliga title after a 4-2 win over VfB Stuttgart, Bayern now turn their attention to the Champions League, where they will face PSG in the semi-finals. For Kompany, a fully fit and confident Musiala could be the key to unlocking even greater success.
