Arsenal lost 1-0 to Manchester City at the Etihad, and it looks like it’s happening again.
It’s happening again, or so it seems, Arsenal look like they are going to bottle the Premier League title once again, and this time, in the most horrifying fashion ever.
We are witnessing the biggest bottle job from any team in the history of any sport since time began.

For over 200 days, Arsenal have been at the top of the Premier League, and by next week, the story may not be the same after their debilitating loss today.
Arsenal faced Manchester City in a title-deciding tie, a tie that they had to win by all means. Arsenal has seen City build up all season, trying to close the gap between the two clubs. At one point in the season, the gap was eleven points, but before kickoff today, it was six points.
Arsenal needed to avoid a loss by all means, and by virtue of a win, they could be a couple of games away from being Premier League champions, but what did they do? They went on to lose at the Etihad.
Manchester City started the game playing like rent was due, and they could’ve taken the lead early when a shot deflected off Gabriel and onto the outside of the bar. The Cityzens eventually got their goal as Cherki danced his way through the Arsenal defence to make it 1-0.
Bizarrely, the lead lasted less than two minutes as Donnarumma made a horrible mistake and deflected his clearance off Havertz’s leg and into the goal to make it 1-1.
That goal made the contest seem close, and Arsenal almost took the lead in the second half as Eze hit the bar after a barrage of chances from Manchester City.
The Cityzens eventually took the lead through Haaland, who redeemed himself after a missed chance early in the game. City now sit three points behind Arsenal, with a goal difference between them.

Manchester City can top the table for the first time this season if they beat Burnley by two goals or more. Arsenal will now need to win all their remaining games and pray that City loses or draws at least one or two of their remaining games.

The feeling from Arsenal fans is that the bottling has begun, and for the third time in four years. It seems like it’s all over, but it isn’t, at least until City play Burnley and until the final day. The Premier League title race will go down to the wire but Arsenal fans aren’t feeling particularly confident right now.
