The second leg of this year’s meeting between both sides was a roller-coaster as Real Madrid erased the deficit in the 1st minute due to an error by Manuel Neuer.
Bayern had to dig deep and go back and forth with Real Madrid to produce a seven-game thriller which was sealed off by a sublime goal from Michael Olise.
Harry Kane’s goal on the night took him to 50 goals for the season and 12 goals in the Champions League. With 12 UCL goals in one campaign, he is the highest scoring English player in a single campaign.

The goal also puts him three goals behind Kylian Mbappe who is the top scorer and has now been eliminated from the competition.
With the semi-finals against PSG looming and potentially, the finals, he could win the UCL, the UCL golden boot and boast a solid claim for the Ballon d’Or.
