Chelsea have now lost three Premier League games in a row for the first time since 1998.
Things have gone from bad to worse for Chelsea under Liam Rosenior. Coming into the game against Manchester City, Chelsea had just one win in their last five, and after falling 3-0 behind at full-time, they are yet to get a Premier League win from their last 4 games.

Chelsea were beaten at home courtesy of goals from O’Reilly, Guehi, and Doku. Chelsea, although solid in the first half, were battered under 20 minutes in the second half as City piled on the goals to keep the Blues in 6th place and four points off Liverpool in 5th.
Manchester City are now 6 points away from league leaders Arsenal, with a game in hand, while both sides clash next week in a decisive tie.
For Chelsea, the reality is that they are far from where they need to be. With losses against Newcastle, Everton, and Manchester City, the Blues have now lost three games in a row and have not scored for the first time since 1998.
They have also now lost back-to-back Premier League games by 3+ goals for the first time since 2018 under Antonio Conte.

Liam Rosenior just keeps breaking all the bad records and although his side has racked up more xG in Premier League games, the results tell a different story.
It seems like he is getting closer to being shown the way out, despite just joining the club. Champions League football may mathematically slip away from their hands if they fail to beat Manchester United next week which will put Rosenior under more pressure.
