Arsenal are making significant strides to secure the futures of two of their brightest academy talents, Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly. Both players, having recently turned 18, are now eligible for extended professional contracts, and the club is keen to finalize new deals promptly.

Myles Lewis-Skelly’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the 2025-26 season, but discussions are progressing smoothly, with expectations of a five-year extension being agreed upon soon.

Ethan Nwaneri, whose contract runs until 2026, is also in talks for a new deal, reflecting his growing importance within the squad.

Manager Mikel Arteta has emphasized the importance of retaining these young talents, stating that the club must prioritize securing their services.

Both players have made significant impressions this season, with Lewis-Skelly featuring prominently in recent matches and Nwaneri being involved in the first-team setup.

Securing long-term commitments from Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly is crucial for Arsenal’s strategy of developing homegrown talent and maintaining a strong core of young players. Their progression mirrors the paths of other academy graduates who have become integral to the first team, underscoring the club’s commitment to nurturing its own.

As Arsenal continues to compete at the highest levels domestically and in Europe, ensuring the futures of promising players like Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly remains a top priority. Their development and integration into the senior squad will be pivotal for the club’s long-term success.
