Karim Adeyemi’s market value has dropped significantly due to his struggles on and off the pitch, with Borussia Dortmund potentially selling him for €30-40 million this summer.

Karim Adeyemi’s market value has plummeted, according to reports, with his struggles on and off the pitch taking a toll. The 24-year-old Borussia Dortmund forward’s value has dropped from a potential €60 million to €30-40 million, making him a more affordable option for interested clubs.

Adeyemi’s uncertain future at Dortmund is contributing to his decreased market value. His contract is set to expire in 2027, and an extension seems increasingly unlikely, making a summer sale a possibility.

The German national team player’s off-field issues have also impacted his market value. In November, he was fined €450,000 for illegal possession of weapons, and he faced criticism for inappropriate behavior after being substituted in a game.

On the pitch, Adeyemi has been inconsistent, falling in and out of Dortmund’s starting lineup. Despite this, he’s still managed 10 goals and five assists in 37 appearances across all competitions this season. Adeyemi’s current market value is estimated between €43-62 million. However, Dortmund may have to settle for a lower price, given his current form and contract situation.

Interested clubs, including Newcastle United and Juventus, may see this as an opportunity to secure Adeyemi’s services at a discounted price. Dortmund, on the other hand, may use a sale to generate revenue and pursue other targets.
