Daniel Svensson responds to links with Real Madrid, insisting he remains focused on Borussia Dortmund.

Daniel Svensson has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid, stating he has not heard anything about the reported interest. The defender remains calm despite the growing rumours surrounding his future.

The Borussia Dortmund player addressed the reports in an interview. Svensson admitted the links were flattering but insisted they have not influenced his thinking.

He explained that he is unaware of any concrete approach from the Spanish giants. While acknowledging it is always fun to be linked with a club of Real Madrid’s stature, he stressed that he is not paying attention to transfer speculation.

Svensson only joined Dortmund in February 2025 and is still settling into life at the Bundesliga club. Because of that, he made it clear that a potential summer move is not something he is currently considering.

The Swedish defender emphasised his commitment to Dortmund, saying his focus is entirely on helping the team through the remainder of the season. With important fixtures still ahead, he wants to concentrate on performances rather than rumours.

He also highlighted how comfortable he feels at the club, pointing out that he has not been there long and still has personal goals to achieve in Germany. The defender believes there is more development ahead for him in Dortmund colours.

For now, Svensson appears content to ignore outside noise. His priority remains building his career at Borussia Dortmund, leaving any future transfer talk to take care of itself while he continues to grow.
