The decision comes shortly after Tottenham’s damaging 3-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest on 22 March. That loss left Tottenham sitting 17th in the table, only one point above the relegation zone with seven matches remaining in the season.
Tudor’s short spell saw mixed performances, but ultimately poor results proved costly. Tottenham suffered five defeats in seven matches across all competitions since he replaced Thomas Frank, who had been dismissed on 14 February. The Croatian had initially signed a deal until the end of the campaign.
In a brief statement, Tottenham confirmed that an update regarding a new head coach would be provided soon. Reports suggest the club are aiming to appoint a replacement within days, ideally before most players return from international duty.
Assistant coach Bruno Saltor will temporarily oversee training for players currently at the club. Tottenham also confirmed the departures of goalkeeping coach Tomislav Rogic and physical coach Riccardo Ragnacci as part of the backroom reshuffle.
Tudor, 47, did not conduct post-match media duties following the defeat to Nottingham Forest due to the death of his father. The club acknowledged the personal circumstances surrounding his exit and expressed their condolences.
Tottenham thanked Tudor and his staff for their efforts during the brief period, noting they had worked tirelessly. The club also extended support to him and his family, bringing a respectful end to a short and challenging chapter at Tottenham.
