Inter Milan prepare major bid for Roma’s Manu Kone, with the French midfielder set to become the club’s most expensive signing in six years.
Inter Milan are reportedly preparing a significant move for Manu Koné, with plans to make the AS Roma midfielder their most expensive signing in six years.
The Nerazzurri have tracked the 24-year-old since last summer, and reports suggest manager Cristian Chivu is keen to strengthen his midfield options once the 2025–26 campaign concludes. According to local reports, Inter remain focused on securing the Serie A title before turning their full attention to transfer business, with Koné identified as a priority target.

The report claims Inter are willing to invest more than €40 million to sign the Frenchman, though Roma may demand closer to €50 million before considering a sale of the former Toulouse and Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder.
Inter have not spent at that level since the summer of 2020, when they paid around €43 million to sign Achraf Hakimi, who later helped the club win the Scudetto before moving to Paris Saint-Germain.
One concern for Inter is the upcoming World Cup, as a strong tournament with the France national football team could significantly increase Koné’s market value and complicate negotiations.
Competition may also intensify, with Paris Saint-Germain reportedly monitoring the situation, meaning Inter could face a battle to secure their top midfield target once the transfer window opens.
