Inter president Giuseppe Marotta remains optimistic about the club’s Serie A title chances despite mounting pressure from AC Milan in the Scudetto race.

Giuseppe Marotta has expressed confidence in Inter Milan’s ability to secure the Serie A title, even as pressure mounts from rivals AC Milan in the Scudetto race.

Speaking about Inter’s position at the top of the table, Marotta used a striking metaphor to describe the challenge of leading the pack. He explained that his side are “the hare that has to be caught,” highlighting the difficulty of being the team everyone is chasing.

According to Marotta, being in front comes with unique psychological pressure, as it is often easier to pursue than to defend a lead. Despite this, he stressed that Inter remain competitive and fully believe they can finish the job.

The Inter president also emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive mindset within the squad. He noted that his role includes transmitting optimism and confidence to both the players and supporters during this stage of the season.

While acknowledging the intensity of the title race, Marotta’s calm and measured tone suggested there is no sense of panic within the club. Instead, his comments reflected a belief that Inter have the experience and quality needed to handle the pressure.

Beyond on-field matters, Marotta also addressed the ongoing plans for a new stadium project involving both Inter and AC Milan. He described the development as essential for meeting modern international standards in football infrastructure.

He concluded by underlining the broader economic impact of such projects, noting that they create jobs, boost commercial activity, and contribute to national growth, positioning sport as a key asset alongside industries like tourism.
