PSG Crush Chelsea 3-0 to Complete 8-2 Aggregate Humiliation

PSG dominated Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge, securing an 8-2 aggregate victory and advancing to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

The match started poorly for Chelsea, with PSG scoring twice in the first 14 minutes. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia opened the scoring in the sixth minute, capitalizing on a defensive error by Mamadou Sarr.

Bradley Barcola doubled the lead eight minutes later with a superb finish from the edge of the box.

Chelsea attempted to rally, but PSG’s defence held strong. Matvei Safonov made crucial saves to deny João Pedro, Cole Palmer, and Jorrel Hato. The Blues’ chances were further diminished when Senny Mayulu scored PSG’s third goal in the 62nd minute.

The match took a turn for the worse for Chelsea when Trevoh Chalobah was stretched off with an injury late in the game, leaving the team with 10 men.

PSG’s victory marks their club-record sixth unbeaten game against English opposition.

This defeat is Chelsea’s joint-heaviest in a two-legged European tie. Manager Liam Rosenior faces pressure to salvage the season, with Chelsea currently sixth in the Premier League.

PSG will face the winner of Liverpool vs. Galatasaray in the quarter-finals, aiming to become the first team since Real Madrid in 2017/18 to defend their UCL title.
