Manchester United played a 2-2 draw against Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday night, and here are three talking points from the game.
Manchester United Lack Finishing Touch
Up front, the Red Devils have a big problem, and it’s their inability to finish off chances. Garnacho and Hojlund had good chances to put the ball in the back of the net, but they failed to do so.
In the middle of the park, Bruno Fernandes keeps working his magic, but the men leading the line simply cannot get United a goal.
Although they scored two on the night thanks to Yoro and Zirkee, if they want to win at home in the second leg, they need to bury crucial chances.

Enough of Onana
Andre Onana is now one of Manchester United’s problems. The Cameroonian goalkeeper conceded two very poor goals yesterday, one of which he could easily have averted.
His abysmal performance on the night has renewed doubts from fans about his ability. The United shot stopper has now conceded 154 goals in 94 games, which just shows how poor he has been for the club.
Lyon were wasteful
If there’s one thing Manchester United fans would be glad about, it’s the fact they Lyon were wasteful. They could have put the tie beyond doubt in the first leg, but they failed to take their chances.
They were also lucky to get a draw, but the results give them a chance to perform even better when they play United at Old Trafford.
