Chelsea cruised past Hull City to a 4-0 victory in the FA Cup fourth round.

Chelsea scaled through to the next round of the FA Cup as Neto got a hat-trick in the 4-0 dismantling of Hull City.

It was a pleasant return for Liam Rosenior as he orchestrated the win over his former side. Chelsea showed their class as they decimated Hull City before even getting the first goal. The Blues dominated the first half and were unlucky to go ahead after Delap’s block on the goalkeeper struck the bar and bounced off the line. He had another chance to convert from the rebound, but the keeper was quick to deny him.

Chelsea eventually got their goal close to half-time as Pedro Neto scored from outside the box to give the Blues the lift they needed.

Neto was on the score sheet again, this time, scoring directly from a corner to make it 2-0. Hull City couldn’t contain the Blues, and after a marauding run from Delap, he slotted it to Estevao, who couldn’t miss from close range.

Chelsea put the nail in the coffin when a well-worked piece of play dropped the ball at Nato’s feet, and with time on his hands, he passed it into the bottom corner, making it 4-0.

Hull City tried to put pressure on Chelsea but they struck the bar while the Chelsea defence snuffed out all their efforts. It was an easy win for Chelsea and a timely response, after squandering a 2-0 lead in the 2-2 draw to Leeds a few days ago.
